Bristol Village is situated 30 feet higher than the mile wide Scioto River valley flood

plain. This broad level area contains extensive farm fields planted in soybeans and corn.

The large expanse of

farm fields insure that

the Village will never be

encircled by urban

developments.

The valley is more than

a mile wide in places

and Bristol Village is

high enough above the

river that flooding is

not a problem.
